Dog Totem
Someone that has a Dog for a Spirit Animal tends to be loyal and comforting. They are protective of those they love. They generally have patience and trust.
Different dog species have special traits of their own.
I have always loved Pre-Columbian art. I am sure that is what influenced my sculpture.
Orange Stone
This is not a stone at all. It is a piece of hand-made clay (brick or paving) that my daughter brought back in a bag of stones she picked up for me during her vacation Masaya, Nicaragua. I have no idea how old it is but I like to think it has history and it could tell us some really interesting stories. At least I can imagine native hands mixing the clay to form a building material. Masaya is a small town where the folkloric arts of dance, music, street theater, and colorful processions are part of its attraction. I’m sure my Dog Totem would fit right in.
Petrified Wood
Many people like Petrified Wood for its ancient energies. Petrified Wood teaches us patience and helps us to understand how to allow life to evolve in perfection. Working with its grounding energies can encourage one to live life as a spiritual being within this physical realm.
Prehnite
Prehnite is one of the crystals that are associated with unconditional love. It is olive green in color and is said to promote spiritual growth.
Serpentine
Serpentine is the talisman stone for musicians and singers. It is the California state stone. It is the blackish green rectangular stone.
